According to the Ultimate Fighting Championship the hardest-hitting UFC fighter, Francis Ngannou has more cumulative hits than any other fighter in the organization’s history. On Saturday, the heavyweight champion preserved his championship by using talents other than his hitting to keep the challenger, Ciryl Gane, at bay for all five rounds of the bout.
However, in a recent film, Ngannou punched an actor in the crotch, proving that he hasn’t changed much over the years.
Earlier this month, Paramount Pictures released a clip from their forthcoming comedy “Jackass Forever,” which will be in theaters throughout the United States beginning on February 4. In this film, Jackass veteran Johnny Knoxville explains how the cast tricked fellow actor Ehren McGhehey into taking a low blow from a professional boxer by telling him the puncher was a lightweight.
McGhehey had no idea that it would be a monstrous heavyweight, over a hundred pounds larger than the competitors at the 155-pound weight limit. As he prepares to fight, Ngannou can be seen warming up by punching a heavy bag and then aiming a blow at a location that is, well, not where you want to be pounded. McGhehey collapsed to the floor at the impact of Ngannou’s shot, his mouth agape at the anguish.
As McGhehey can be seen in the video thinking and laughing about the punch, it would seem that it did not have any serious consequences. In the main event of the night, Gaethje will try to fight Khabib Nurmagomedov, who has been defeated by 28 other men before him. If he wins, he’ll become the undisputed lightweight champion, but becoming the first guy to defeat Nurmagomedov seems more significant than any championship at this time.
Gaethje will try to do this by defending off takedowns from Nurmagomedov and scoring a knockout punch. It’s easier to say than to execute, but he just may pull it off.

The American is one of the few fighters that can neutralize their opponent at any time. It’s true that there are plenty of fighters who can put the hurt on an opponent, but only a handful of guys like Gaethje can be found in the UFC at any one time.
Who are the current day’s fighters? Permit us to present them to you.
The following is a list of the heaviest hitters currently competing in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. This rules out Mark Hunt, Cris Cyborg, and John Lineker, all of whom fought in the UFC before. Anthony Johnson, who has spoken about returning to the ring but has yet to actually do so, is also ineligible. Finally, we eliminated as much of the impact of mass as possible. Otherwise, we would only be considering heavy hitters, but this is a pound-for-pound ranking.
We said things like, “He left a trail of mushroom clouds in his wake.” So pardon the cliche, but it fits, and it fits well, so please indulge us in recycling that metaphor.
This individual controls nuclear weapons. His smooth landings are deadly.
For example, Gaethje knocked out James Vick and Edson Barboza with a single, devastating blow. As Tony Ferguson discovered in May, losing to him via technical knockout rather than a knockout is quite an accomplishment.
UFC light heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz of Poland won a technical knockout (TKO) victory against Dominick Reyes, a fighter who had previously lost just once (to the famous Jon Jones) and had never been knocked out.
Blachowicz’s fists pack a deadly impact, and he’s been demonstrating this more often as of late. Most notably, he has defeated Corey Anderson and Luke Rockhold, both of whom likely still have nightmares about his Legendary Polish Power.
